This being human is a guest house.
Every morning is a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

If only I knew what to do.....

So I have been really enjoying working at Petite these last few days. I wonder if the transition to a job in the day and with benifits is worth leaving what I have at Petite. Maybe it's been fun cause I am leaving?
They all seem bummed out to see me go, and maybe if my boss offered me a raise I might stay. Working day shift though....hmmm maybe then I might actually have a life.
Grrr. Thoughts anyone?

NO TV
Well, didn't watch TV yesterday but from what I have heard things went well. I don't watch TV folks. Glad things are a happening.
This is the beginning of the last week at Petite. Yay! Also asked Spirit a few days ago to make me sick so I could quit smoking ciggs, next day I woke up sick. Thank you Spirit. Still sick, going to work.
Ciao for now

Things are going good!
Not only did I pass the background check for Cascadia but also last week Delphina's Bakery contacted me for an interview and I worked for two days and they hired me. Spirit gave me this job and I am grateful. I wasn't even looking. They are going to start me out at the same amount that I make now plus I get medical benifits in 6months. Now maybe I can actually take good care of myself physically instead of just living on the fringe.
Blessings!

I got approved to voluneteer at SMYRC!!
Yay! I got the news today. After 10 years of not getting in trouble and applying myself I get to give it back to kids who were much like me.
Thank You Spirit!!
Does anyone know the name Danielle LaPorta? She said her poem was on my blog but I don't know which one.

A New Year Blessing
That the single, most significant dimension of life is your relationship with the Source of Goodness who never ceases to sing love songs to your soul
That you find meaning, purpose, and vitality in what you do daily
That you treasure your loved ones and let them know how dear they are to you
That you make choices and decisions that reflect your truest self
That you look in the mirror at least once a day and smile in happy amazement
That you remember relationships are what count above all else - more than work or money, or all the material things we spend so much time tending
That you live in an uncluttered manner, enjoying the freedom to be content
That you keep your sense of humor when things don't go the way you want
That you find adventure in each new day and marvel at the wonders of creation which constantly present themselves to you
That you never give up on yourself when others turn away or do not understand
That you are attentive to the health of your body, mind and spirit
That you take risks and accept the growth-full challenges that come to you
That you draw on your inner strength and resiliency when you are in need
That you carry peace within yourself, allowing it to slip into the hearts of others so our planet becomes a place where violence, division, and war are no more

Trying and Working on "stuff"
Well, we did talk for a couple of hours. We both came from a place of love and we both compromised.
So, i guess we will see what we shall see.
So, i guess we will see what we shall see.
On not having any fun last night and being okay with that.

i am a selfish boy and wanted to go home and wake up in my own bed this last night.
She wanted to "hang out with me on NEw years eve" and i wasn't into it. my new year starts at Samhain. i told her that i was tired of spending time over there at her house(after being snowed in practiclly) but she could come over to mine.
Long story short i ended up walking out of her apartment, I did go back over this morning after work and apoligized but she only said "okay" Then, "i don't know what to say" Maybe later she will want to talk about what happened. I am willing to own my actions and behaviors but is she willing to own hers?
